The role sits in the SHEQ department and oversees and ensures the Quality of the company’s products and services in line with approved regulatory, external, and internal standards, policies, and procedures.

Fire Glass UK Ltd is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers, suppliers, and glaziers of fire and acoustic glass, and is looking to appoint a full-time QC Inspector at their Midlands Branch.

The job will include heavy lifting, manual handling, and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

The successful applicant would also receive training in different aspects of the glass trade with the opportunity to learn a new skill set and progress within the company.

Requirements:

· Reasonable work experience in Quality related roles

· A good understanding of Quality Regulatory Frame Works

· Excellent communication skills (Written and verbal) and strong work ethics.

· Strong organisation skills, multi-tasking, and ability to prioritise departmental tasks

· Excellent decision-making capabilities

Ability to learn and demonstrate efficiency in the use of relevant systems.
Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic environment.
A qualification in transport management, logistics, or business management is desired but not required.
Ability to work independently and follow directions.
Proficient with all Microsoft Applications required.
Must be goal oriented and task driven.
