WHO WE ARE
The ‘Fire Glass Journey’ began in 2008 when we started out as a single cutting bench in the corner of a shared factory employing just two staff. In 2018 we celebrated our first decade in business with five Branches nationwide (and a separate Installations division) and now employ over 120 members of staff.
With a lot of hard work and dedication we have taken the company from a standing start to market leader for the supply of fire-rated and other specialist glass. Our strapline is to provide the glass you need, when you need it.
Our success has not been by accident but through our direct action. Our customers know that FGUK is a brand they can trust to deliver. We know that integrity goes a long way and our focus is on the service we provide and how we can best serve our customers’ needs in the increasingly challenging marketplace.
Fire Glass UK is run on hard work, commitment and a continued strive for improvement. We are delighted to have been shortlisted as finalists in the ‘Glass Company of the Year’ category at the prestigious Glass Awards for 2017, 2018 and 2019

Our customers are valued by us and we are very fortunate to have a number of customers who have been with us throughout our journey. It is clear that our customers do not just buy products from us, they buy into our commitment to them. We add value to their business and often work on joint marketing projects and provide CPD training to their staff; as well as supporting them with their local community engagement and charitable projects (as well as our own). We are more than Fire Glass.
As well as customer service, we also invest in and value our staff and their well-being. We’re extremely proud of our staff who have worked hard to build up our reputation – nothing can replicate being undeniably good at what you do, and our staff demonstrate that time and time again.

HOW WE DO IT
We are passionate about customer service and also have a dedicated Technical Support department for any issues that may arise with your project. We listen to our customer’s needs and faster delivery times is a huge priority to most projects. We make this happen by making sure our nationwide branch network is well stocked. So, no matter what part of the UK you are, delivery to site or your preferred location isn’t a problem to us. We can deliver the glass you want, when you need it.
We know the importance of meeting the highest of standards and understand our obligation as market leader to ensure excellence in all we do. We do that via ‘the Fire Glass Promise’ of Safety, Quality and Service (SQS) which we launched in 2018.
SAFETY
We understand that safety is the key factor that customers look for when deciding on what product to use. Commercial pressures on a project do not mean that safety or design need to be compromised: we offer a wide product range at competitive prices and only stock products that fully meet regulation and fire safety standards.
Quality

Our staff work in a clear and organised environment, enabling them to focus on the quality of their work.
