Fire Glass North gathered on Friday 10th May to bid farewell to a valued member of our Fire Glass North family, Ian Heywood, as he embarks on a new chapter in his life: retirement.

Ian has been an integral part of the Fire Glass North team for nearly five years, bringing his expertise and dedication to every task he undertook. Before joining Fire Glass North, Ian spent 15 years at Pyroguard, showcasing his commitment to the industry. In 2019, he seamlessly transitioned to our team, bringing a wealth of experience and a can-do attitude.

To commemorate Ian’s time with us, the company and his colleagues presented him with heartfelt gifts, expressing our gratitude for his hard work and camaraderie. Simon, Fire Glass North’s Branch Manager, also paid tribute to Ian, highlighting his contributions and wishing him well in his retirement journey.

Ian, your presence will be greatly missed, but your legacy will continue to inspire us. We wish you all the best in this new chapter of your life, filled with relaxation, adventure, and everything you’ve ever dreamed of. Congratulations on your well-deserved retirement!
