SAS International hosted a truly very well organised charity day raising funds for MNDA (Motor Neurone Disease Association). Welcome packs were given to all contestants containing golf items relating to the Forest and also advertising for SAS. The golf day at Forest of Arden was a resounding success in relation to its end goal of raising money for charity. The figure raised is in the sum of around £6000; this did not include any money raised through the donation buckets.

On the 18th hole there was the chance of winning a car for a hole in one. Fire Glass UK sponsorship was shown on hole 11; it was a four ball team event where the best two scores counted on each hole. But, unfortunately the team did not score sufficiently well to challenge the 3 prizes. It was good for Fire Glass UK to have a representative there when sponsoring a hole but the day was all about SAS.
