17.10.2022: Britain’s Technical Fire Safety Group (TFSG) with its market-leading trading brands Pyroguard and Fire Glass UK, is to join forces with the svt Group of Companies, following a buy-out of the group by Ergon Capital, backers of the svt Group. The two companies complement each other extremely well in their respective product portfolios in passive fire protection and also their geographical presence, and their coming together will create a major European player in passive fire protection.
Combining strengths
svt and TFSG both have a long history of growth and have more than doubled their respective sizes through strong organic growth and mergers since 2016. The market for passive fire protection is an attractive, high growth sector which benefits from strong regulatory tailwinds and this new merger holds great potential for both partners to accelerate their growth and jointly gain market share on an international level.

svt is one of the leading suppliers in passive fire protection in Europe, TFSG develops and manufactures state-of-the-art fire safety glass. Fire protection seals from svt and fire rated glass from TFSG are frequently part of the same customer solution, with both products working in harmony together.
