The installation of this equipment will give the branch greater capacity in all areas of glass production and offer a better service to customers in Scotland. These investments will help the branch achieve its growth targets for 2021 and beyond. Pilkington Fire Rated Units in ScotlandAs of May 2021, the Scotland Branch is now fully accredited to produce Pilkington Fire Rated IGUs’. This capability now means the branch can offer fire-rated IGUs’ from all of the main glass manufacturers. With the help of Barry Lechat, SHEQ Manager, the branch was subject to an audit process relating to all IGU processes before the accreditation was achieved.
